BasicNerf’s got his: here’s his unboxing. Something different; the t-shirt! I’ve already got my Nerf Nation shirt, but they didn’t send along the Elite t-shirt. I’m thinking they’ll be in NYC, when I get to the Nerf N-Strike Elite Launch event.

| Don’t fret! N-Strike old skool and N-Strike Elite is all interchangeable. I’ll make a video of this to showcase but old does work with new and vice versa. The Elite ammo flies fantastically out of both types of blasters though. |

Yeah, the range claims are pretty believable, and the darts fly super straight, straighter than any other darts I’ve tried fresh outta the box. Impressive, most impressive. I’ll look into getting a better sideways shot, that might be better. Plus, I still have the Rampage to look at!
Saw this posted by one of my buds in Singapore… Zecong Toys’s commercial. They say mockery is the sincerest form of imitation, but this is pretty much… uh… yeah. You see some stuff from Nerf (is that a Barricade with a Recon barrel setup?) a slightly altered (aesthetically) Stampede, and a few representatives of Buzz Bee, amongst other things.

Good times up in Wisconsin this weekend with the MANO crew! The Wisconsin scene is alive and well, and it looks like there’s still people interested in running around with toy blasters in parks. It had it all- melee, marshmallows, Vapor, Nerf, and… more marshmallows. Seriously kids, remember to always keep some large ammo in your loadouts if the war allows huge shields.
In any event, big thanks to the WI crew for letting us know about it and putting it on. Wouldn’t be here to prove there’s an audience without guys like this. I’ve got some POV footage coming up, so keep an eye for it a little later!

Not likely. The Super soaker rocket is on the right, and the hole is much smaller than the hole on the titan rocket on the bottom of the picture. Not to mention the rocket is hollowed out like the generic pool toy on the left, necessitating a modifcation to block up the hole. Still, if you want to implement throwing items in your games this is one route to go but I will admit the uberdart flies way better for that purpose even if it is a bit pricier.
