Well, how about that? The new Dart Tag blasters are live on Nerf.com!

Because we’re not about reinventing the wheel at FoamFromAbove, I’ll link the blog posts. Urban Taggers let the cat out of the bag weeks ago (months?) regarding the new Dart Tag items in 2011 (the new type of clipped blasters, jerseys, etc.) and SGNerf has been pretty close behind.

And lo, the story breaks – 09/09/10 blaster news?

Well, I first saw this on Nerfhaven and it looks like amazon.com and other vendors started listing for a toy called the….

Nerf N-Strike Stampede ECS-50.

So what does this mean, besides Nerf finally naming a blaster after me? (A guy can dream, right?)

Well, naming conventions being what they are this thing’ll have 50 shots in some kinda automatic configuration (the listing says 6 “D” batteries needed, like the vulcan) and signs indicate clip system. It’ll be out 09/09/10, suggesting the initial “Big Blast” moniker was possibly a code name.

I’m going to avoid speculating, but this is actually pretty interesting, and exciting! I almost hope there’s an early release somewhere…

Now, I don’t know much at all about either blaster, these are things Kevinericon posted about and found himself. Any details are pretty much either from him or pure speculation on my part. Enjoy, and hope to see these stateside later this Spring!

WHEN DOES THE (NERF) RAID BEGIN? 09-09-09

A quick teaser of an ad from Hasbro for the upcoming Raider. I don’t have one yet, but as soon as I can get my hands on it I’ll be sure to put my own spin on it. Yes, I know that some people have already got their resourceful hands on them so there is already plenty of info out there. Should you feel so inclined, go crazy to search it out!
