Many (many, many) years ago I had a paintball pistol called a Splatmaster:

It ran off 12g CO2 capsules, and was both basic and completely awesome!
This isn't the same thing, but I guess the designers are probably aware of the previous namesake product.

I imagine the shotgun internals are very similar to the old Thundersplat .50 cal paintball shotguns, but could you show a dissection anyway? Just wondering!
